A little about myself and my Gammill Statler Stitcher , I live in Sandy Beach on the beautiful North Coast of New South Wales near Coffs Harbour.
My husband and I moved to Coffs Harbour thirteen years ago with our two lovely children.
We provide a high quality quilting service using the superior performance of the latest 14 foot Optimum Gammill with the precision of a computerised Statler Stitcher.
I have been professionally trained on all aspect of this wonderful machine. I also design quilt patterns for my Gammil.
We’re now lucky enough to own two state of the art Gammills, this enables us to do custom quilting and edge to edge with a fast turn around.
A Gammill Statler Stitcher is a computerised longarm quilting machine which is a unique combination of a Gammill sewing head and a powerful software program, invented and developed by Paul Statler. This means that the machine is computer guided enabling it to stitch pretty much any design including intricate patterns. The Statler Stitcher allows us to determine accurate pattern and block size, stitches per inch, repetitions of the pattern, the offset of the pattern and so much more including my own quilting pattern designs.
Gammill is a world wide renowned company and considered to be the ‘Rolls Royce’ of longarm machines. They have been manufacturing their own brand of quilting machines since 1979 and in the early 1980’s became the first company to develop a large throat sewing machine on tracks which could be operated from both sides. This created a massive impact on the quilting world, as it became possible to complete a quilt in a matter of hours rather than days.

I LOVE quilting, sewing and creating.
My mum is a professional seamstress. I grew up with wedding dresses being cut out on the kitchen table.
Mum sewed on an old treadle singer sewing machine which my uncle converted to electricity, where I spent many pleasurable hours making gifts for all my family and friends from the early age of five.
Quilting is both a passion and a creative outlet and I attend local patchwork quilting workshops at Nesting Needles with Lisa Peterson and Chris Timmins at Creative Sewing Center in Coffs Harbour.
My enjoyment, Quilting at Misty Mountain getaway in Dorrigo. I recommend this getaway to all quilters with lots of talented teachers and a beautiful location. Fun and learning for all.
Spending many hours making quilts and sharing all things quilting.
I also attend local painting groups with Helen Goldsmith in oil and watercolour and enjoy attending workshops with talented artists like Lucy and Barry McCann through Gail Cardow of Island Art Shop.
I would love to help you with your quilting.
